The rest of the work week calls for sunshine and a dry sky. By early next week, we’ll still remain dry through mid-week with the potential to see some rain by the latter portion of the week.
September and October are the two driest months of the year in Alabama, climatology speaking. It is not unusual to see dry spells during this period. Temperatures will be well-above average through Wednesday as a deep layer ridge remains in place. Our average high for this time of year is 88°. A back door cold front will move through by Wednesday evening bringing us lower humidity and more seasonable temperatures.
