DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Friday will start off clear in the Wiregrass, but our problems begin early with gusty conditions throughout the day. Expect gusts upwards of 35 mph with the worst of the winds around the Troy and Abbeville areas ahead of the storms. Scattered showers could start as early as 3 p.m. for our northern counties, but the majority of the rain will fall between 6 p.m. and midnight for the rest of the Tri-State.
You may need a light jacket Saturday considering high temperatures will stay in the low 70s. Sunday will be warmer with highs in the upper 70s and partly cloudy skies for Mother’s Day.
The first half of next week will be bone-dry with temperatures becoming more seasonable as they peak in the mid-80s by Wednesday.
