WDHN Storm Team: Widespread rain tomorrow before drying out this weekend

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — For the first time in a long time, today was dry for almost everyone except for some of our Florida residents. Wiregrass residents peaked in the upper 80s to 90 degrees today. Tonight will be mild once again with temperatures around 70 and increasing clouds overnight.

Friday will have numerous showers throughout the day. Some of these storms will have heavy rain at times and keep our temperatures in the low to mid-80s.

Showers will be more scattered on Saturday with temperatures in the mid-80s for all of the Tri-State.

A cold front will sweep through the region Sunday and take away the showers and clouds altogether. We’ll slowly warm up throughout the week until we hit the low 90s by Wednesday.

Thank you to everyone that sent in pictures of yesterday’s double rainbow! If you have interesting pictures of the weather, please send them to @MatthewWine_wx on Twitter or email them to mwine@wdhn.com. We are more than happy to feature you in during the show!
