WDHN Storm Team: Warmer temperatures through Saturday

With a mostly sunny sky and an on shore breeze, the next two days are going to be pretty warm in the Wiregrass. For Friday, we can expect highs to be in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Then on Saturday, most locations will be in the lower 80s for afternoon high temperatures.

On Sunday, a storm system will be moving in from the west and there will be some development of some showers and storms late in the day. The bulk of the rain and storm activity will be expected on Monday as a costal low develops. This will enhance the development and a few strong storms are not out of the question, but severe storms at this time are not expected. Cooler highs will be with us Sunday and Monday.

As the rain and storms clear out, the remainder of the forecast period will be a little cooler than the next two days will be. Highs will be in the 60s and lower 70s. That is slightly below where we should be for this time of the year.
