DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN)- The low pressure system that we have been tracking all week will likely form into a Tropical Depression later today, making it the next named storm of Hurricane Season 2019. As it moves to the SSW, there is a threat for flash flooding, storm surge, and strong winds especially along the Mississippi and Louisiana coastlines.
Impacts for the Wiregrass will be minimal. We will mainly see highs in the lower 90s over the next several days with scattered showers and thunderstorms developing into the afternoon as tropical moisture rolls in. Stay up to date on the forecast over the next several days and we will keep you posted on any changes.
