DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) – As of Thursday at 8 AM, a cool front is stationed to the north of the Wiregrass. As we progress through the day, it will make its way southward and bring us some relief in our humidity levels. Dew point temperatures are also in the 60s across the Tri-State region but that is set to change as we head into Friday morning. Drier and cooler air will filter in by this afternoon and greet us with a pleasant day for Friday.
Low temperatures by Friday morning will be in the lower 60s for majority of the area, but some of our northern counties may start the day in the upper 50s. Get out and enjoy the beautiful weather while you can!
Mugginess will build back in for the weekend and that will give way to our typical summertime pattern. High temperatures will be in the 90s but with higher dew point temperatures, it will feel more like the upper 90s to triple digits. A slight shower or thunderstorm cannot be ruled out for Sunday but our next best chance for rain will arrive by early next week.
Happy Friday Eve!
