DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — We saw some heavy rainfall and a big cool down today. Many folks made it into the low and mid-90s before quickly dropping to the middle 70s as storms passed through the area. We will stay in the low 70s tonight with partly cloudy skies.
Tomorrow will see some scattered storms in the late afternoon and early evening hours, but rainfall will not be as torrential as what we saw today. A few lingering showers are possible before midnight. Temperatures will peak around 93 degrees.
Friday and Saturday will be drier, but an isolated storm or two is possible both days as temperatures reach into the mid-90s. Mostly sunny skies will make for a great couple of days to get out and enjoy the pool!
Sunday will see a few more storms, but it won’t be a washout by any means. Temperatures will once again peak in the mid-90s.
Monday will see a slightly better chance for showers and storms as temperatures remain high. However, Tuesday very well could be as much as 5-10 degrees cool if the expected rain occurs during the peak heating hours.
