DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN)- Scattered showers and storms will develop for our Tuesday as a cool front approaches the area. Highs will only reach the upper 80s by this afternoon.
Showers will remain in the forecast for Wednesday and some much needed cooler air will filter in by Thursday morning as the cool front passes through the area. We’ll see a dry sky for Thursday and Friday with highs back in the lower 90s.
TRACKING THE TROPICS: We’re keeping a close eye on Tropical Storm Dorian as it continues to move to the WNW with maximum sustained winds at 50 mph as of Tuesday morning. It’s still to far out to tell, if any, impacts will be expected for the Wiregrass. We’ll have to see if Dorian can hold itself together as it is impacted by land, wind shear, and some dry air. We’ll continue to monitor it closely.
