WDHN Storm Team: Storms continue this week

Weather

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Happy Memorial Day, and thank you to everyone who has served and sacrificed for our country!

After a primarily dry weekend, the storms today have been widespread throughout the Wiregrass. Rain will continue for the next few hours, but things will wind down for most of us by midnight except for a couple spotty showers.

Tuesday will be 5-10 degrees cooler than today with just as much rain. Storms should pop up in our area in the early afternoon and stick around through much of the evening.

Wednesday will be in the mid 80s with scattered storms throughout the day. Thursday we’ll move back into the lower 80s with additional chances for rain.

As Friday rolls around, storms will make for a wet end to the work week. Temperatures will be close to 90 degrees for many of us. On the other hand, the weekend does look much better! While the chances for rain don’t diminish entirely, they will decrease quite a bit. Temperatures will be right around average for this time of year.
