The spring equinox was earlier this evening at 4:58, but tonight will be on the cold side and feeling more like winter. Going into Thursday afternoon and through the weekend, our afternoon highs will be getting warmer. Above average temperatures will be expected. Saturday and Sunday will reach the mid to upper 70s in the afternoons.
Next week, a frontal system will move into the region and some shower and storm chances will be entering the forecast. Most of the rain will be expected later in the day Monday and will exit early on Tuesday. We’ll have a better idea on the timing as we get closer. At this time, severe storms are not expected with this system.
