WDHN Storm Team: Showers ending overnight, cool Mother’s Day weekend

Weather

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Despite the light showers moving into the Wiregrass right now, we won’t see a lot of rain once all is said and done. Winds will decrease as the front passes through overnight, and temperatures will drop into the low 50s as the last of the showers moves out during the very early morning hours.

Saturday will be dry and cool with temperatures in the low 70s and mostly sunny skies.

We’ll be mostly cloudy but warmer for any Mother’s Day activities on Sunday, so you can likely shed the light jacket by Noon.

Starting Monday, we’ll see a steady climb through the low 80s and eventually into the upper 80s by the end of the next work week.
