The showers and storms we are watching tonight on Action Radar will begin to dissipate going into the overnight hours.
A few showers and storms are expected Wednesday, but most of the activity will be in the eastern part of the Wiregrass.
Thursday and Friday will be mainly dry and hot. Heat index temperatures will be warming into the upper 90s to near 100°F.
Starting on the weekend, some low-end rain and storm chances will return to the region. Despite the rain chances, afternoon temperatures will be in the lower to middle 90s with heat index temperatures even higher.
If you plan on participating in any outdoor activities or will be working outdoors, be sure to take plenty of breaks and to stay hydrated.
