The dry and warm weather is going to be sticking around for the most part, but there a few changes in the seven day forecast. For Thursday and Friday there is a low chance that there may be enough moisture to work with that a few stray showers or storms may develop. Most locations will miss out on the rain, but if your neighborhood does get rain, afternoon highs may be a little cooler than areas that stay dry. Most of us will be in the middle to upper 80s for afternoon highs Thursday and Friday.
Going into the weekend, Saturday will be a mainly hot and dry day. Highs will be in the lower 90s with heat index temperatures reaching into the middle 90s. The heat index will become a factor because the humidity levels will be increasing due to a southerly component to the wind.
Rain and storm chances will be the highest Sunday and for Monday when we can expected scattered showers and storms. The bulk of the rain will be concentrated to the afternoon and early evening hours when we have the warmest temperatures. Tuesday and Wednesday will be mainly dry and warm.
