DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — After nearly an inch of rain for much of the Wiregrass today, showers will taper off after midnight. We’ll stay dry for the majority of Tuesday with highs in the low 80s. It will be windy behind the cold front with gusts upwards of 25 mph.
Rain will make a return Tuesday night into Wednesday morning and stick around throughout the afternoon hours on Wednesday. The rain will move out in the evening for many of us, and highs will once again peak in the low 80s.
Thursday and Friday will have continued chances for rain, but we’ll also start a warming trend. Thursday will be in the mid-80s while some Tri-State residents will make it into the 90s on Friday.
The heat continues for the Memorial Day festivities with highs in the 90s Saturday-Monday. Rain is a possibility each of those days, but none of them looks like a washout by any means at this point.
