WDHN Storm Team: Rain ending soon, cool air remains

Weather

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The light showers moving through the Wiregrass today have moved out for the most part. We’ll finish off the last of these showers over the next couple hours and keep the mostly cloudy skies tonight.

Tuesday will start in the low 40s and only move into the low 50s once again. Cloud cover will slowly decrease throughout the day.

Wednesday and Thursday will both start in the middle 30s and and warm up into the middle and upper 50s. Mostly sunny skies will prevail.

Friday will be our next chance for showers, but confidence is not very high right now. Models are having a tough time depicting the set-up. If there is widespread rain, temps will stay in the middle 50s. If the system under-performs, a couple spots could move into the low 60s for a couple hours.

Saturday and Sunday will be cool once again on the backside of the front that moves through on Friday.

We’ll start off next week with another chance for rain and temperatures in the 30s for morning lows and 50s for afternoon highs yet again.
