DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — A very nice break from the rain for most people today until a strong storm moved across northern portions of the area around 9 this evening. Here’s what we’ve got in store for the rest of the week!
Temperatures Thursday-Saturday will hover in the low 90s for most folks as we see a few very rainy days. We could see around an inch to 1.5″ of rain before the end of Saturday, so be sure to take the umbrella and even some rain boots with you if you’re out and about.
Sunday will creep into the middle 90s as rain chances drop back to 30%. Data is leaning toward a drier end to the weekend and start to the work week, so that is definitely something to look forward to once we get through the next few days.
Like previously mentioned, the work week should be much drier as the scattered storms become less widespread. We’ll hold out on removing rain chances for now, but the drier days will allow us to keep those temperatures above our seasonal average as we remain in the low-to-mid 90s.
