DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — It has been dry this Tuesday, but rain will start to move into Southern Alabama over the next few hours and stay throughout the night. We’ll see a good chance for rain Wednesday during the morning and afternoon hours especially for our southern counties.
Wednesday night will dry out and temperatures will drop into the low to mid-60s Thursday morning. We’ll see additional rain chances both Thursday and Friday, but it will not be continuous rain either day. Friday is also the start of the weekend warm-up as high temperatures sit around 90 degrees.
The heat continues over the weekend with most of us making it into the low 90s. Areas that receive a storm will likely only be a touch cooler and stay in the upper 80s.
Memorial Day itself will also peak in the low 90s with chances for rain throughout the day. We’ll keep a close eye on it to make sure you have the knowledge necessary to adjust your holiday festivities as needed!
