WDHN Storm Team: More scattered storms before we start drying out

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Today’s rain was much needed considering the Dothan Regional Airport has us at a deficit of over 2.5″ for the month of July. While we didn’t make up all of that today, we’ll get another healthy dose of rain tomorrow.

Wednesday will be full of rain for Wiregrass residents from a few spotty showers in the morning to widespread scattered storms during the afternoon and evening. Temperatures for many will be in the upper 80s and low 90s just like today.

Thursday will have decreased storm chances and slightly increased temperatures. Friday will amplify this trend as our rain chances drop to 20% and temperatures climb into the mid-90s.

Saturday through the beginning of the work week will continue to see storm chances at or below 30% with temperatures hanging in the mid-90s. As Tuesday rolls around, the Southeast US could be experiencing some impacts from the system that might become Tropical Storm Isaias.
