WDHN Storm Team: More rain to come, Tropical Storm Josephine strengthens

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — A few storms moved from East to West through the Wiregrass today. We’ll see more wet conditions over the next few days before seeing a little nice weather next week.

Tomorrow and Saturday will still have high chances for rain with temperatures barely making it into the 90s. Both days could see quite a bit of rain in the heaviest thunderstorms. Showers will be on and off from morning to night.

Sunday will see a decrease in rain chances and an increase in temperatures. This will continue Monday as well with only a 20% chance and temperatures in the mid-90s.

Tuesday onward will keep rain chances in the low to medium range as temperatures continue to hover in the lower 90s.

Tracking the Tropics: The recently named Tropical Storm Josephine has winds of 45 mph and is moving to the WNW at 16 mph. Models are taking it North of Puerto Rico by Sunday at which point we expect it to take a Northerly turn away from the US and out into the Atlantic.
