DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN)- Some areas in the Wiregrass picked up over an inch of rain on Wednesday as a frontal boundary moved through. Now, that frontal boundary is stalled to the south of the area so any storms that develop this afternoon will mainly setup along the Panhandle. Highs will be back in the middle 90s for Thursday and Friday with our feels like temperatures in the triple digits.
The first half of the weekend will be mainly dry and hot, but a more unsettled weather pattern will set up by Sunday. Highs will drop to the lower 90s as more clouds and storms roll through the area.
