WDHN Storm Team: Lower Humidity Thursday; Tracking Hurricane Dorian

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN)- In the short term, our weather pattern will be very nice as lower humidity will be in place with highs topping out in the lower 90s. Overnight lows will fall into the upper 60s for the next several mornings with no rain in the forecast.

A more summertime pattern will set up by the weekend with highs topping out in the upper 80s to lower 90s. There will be no need to cancel your Labor Day plans, despite Hurricane Dorian moving towards U-S.

Potential impacts wouldn’t happen for us until late Tuesday through Thursday. Most models have this storm making landfall along the Florida Peninsula as a major hurricane and then moving up the east coast. A few models do bring this storm into the Gulf. Regardless, it is still uncertain what, if any impacts will be felt in the Wiregrass. Stay up to date as the forecast will continue to change.
