DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — What a nice couple of days it has been! We’ve got a couple more in store before some rain moves back into the forecast.
Both Friday and Saturday look splendiferous! We’ll have sunny skies, temperatures in the mid-90s, and only the smallest chance for a shower or storm Saturday evening. These two days will be the best weather-wise for outdoor Labor Day celebrations and spending some time pool-side.
Sunday and Monday won’t be too shabby either, but storm coverage will be a little more extensive. With a 30% chance both days, don’t call it quits on any outdoor plans just yet. Best thing to do is use that interactive radar on our WDHN weather app to know where the storms are and adjust those plans accordingly! Temperatures will move back into the lower 90s.
Tuesday and Wednesday will be right around 50% for that rain chance with temperatures still barely hanging on to that 90 degree mark.
Thursday onward could see some big changes as a cold front might just sweep clear across the nation. The timing on that weather set-up is not quite set in stone, but if it is as strong as some data are hinting right now we could see high temps consistently in the mid-80s for a little bit.
