DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — A few showers and storms were able to pop off this evening, but things will quiet down as the night progresses. Temperatures will drop into the upper 60s overnight, and it will be the last time for a while that most of the area drops below 70 degrees during the overnight hours.
Friday will be much like today with temperatures in the low 90s and the chance for a couple isolated showers and storms.
Rain chances will remain low with throughout the weekend, but don’t rule out that stray shower or storm as things heat up. Wiregrass residents will easily reach into the low 90s. Some areas of the Southeast will likely peak in the mid-90s as high pressure sits over the region.
Monday-Thursday will remain right around 90 degrees with rain chances increasing from 20% on Monday to 50% by mid-week. For anyone attending the Future Masters next week, it’s a good idea to carry around an umbrella and rain jacket each day.
