DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN)- The dangerous heat trend will continue for Friday and into the weekend. We’re forecasting highs to reach the middle to upper 90s through early next week. With dew point temperatures in the 70s, it will feel more like the triple digits. Be sure to stay hydrated, take frequent breaks, and crank up the air conditioning.
Daily storm chances are in the forecast as pop-up showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop each afternoon. We look to finally see some heat relief mid-week next week as a frontal boundary moves through dropping our highs to the lower 90s.
