WDHN Storm Team: Get ready for a warm & rainy Friday

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Tonight will be quite a bit warmer as most of the Wiregrass remains in the upper 40s and low 50s with mostly cloudy skies. You heard that right! No frost anywhere in our area tonight!

Friday is the big day for the Abbeville Yellowjackets! If you are heading to Tuscaloosa, make sure to bring a rain jacket. Those arriving early can expect light to moderate showers before and around noon. The game should be dry besides an isolated, light shower or mist. The field itself will be wet for sure. Here in Dothan, we can expect the showers and a few rumbles of thunder to start in the morning and end in the early evening hours. The potential for strong to severe storms should be confined to the immediate Florida coastline. We’ll be in the upper 60s in the eastern half of our area and in the low 60s and upper 50s in the western half most of the day.

Saturday and Sunday will be dry and in the middle 50s to low 60s. Mostly sunny skies on Saturday will turn mostly cloudy on Sunday.

Next week will be dry with temperature hovering around 60 degrees. Morning lows will be close to freezing once again. Sunny skies will prevail each and every day.
