DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The main line of showers moved in late this morning and exited this afternoon. We got close to that expected quarter inch of rain according to the Dothan Regional Airport. Any leftover mists tonight into tomorrow morning will be very light in nature, so additional rain totals in the next 24 hours will be minimal.
We’ll start off in the middle 40s Friday morning with cloudy skies and a light mist possible from that wrap-around moisture. Highs will struggle to move into the low 50s.
The weekend will be dry and cool both days. Make sure to bundle up before heading out in the morning because we’ll be starting in the low 30s both days.
We’ll bring those rain chances back up to 50% on Monday as temperatures hover in the upper 40s and low 50s much like we saw today.
Tuesday will be drier and have some more sunshine as we warm up just a touch to the middle 50s.
Wednesday and Thursday will start in the 30s just like most other days this week, but we will be back in the middle and upper 50s.
