WDHN Storm Team: Fall is finally here!

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — A beautiful night for Friday Football! Things will get a little chilly, so you may want that hoodie or light jacket if you’re in the stands tonight.

Tomorrow will be another seasonably cool and fantastic day. Sunny skies and highs in the low 70s will be the story for all of the Wiregrass. And for our trick-or-treaters tomorrow night, you can expect temperatures right around 60 degrees and increasing cloud cover. A few light showers might roll in around midnight for those close to the AL/GA line, but most of the kiddos are usually home by then.

Sunday could start off with an early morning, isolated, light shower for our viewers in the eastern Tri-State. But have no fear! That should be the only shower chance for the entire day. Temperatures in the low-to-mid 70s in the afternoon will drop about 30 degress lower going into Monday as another cold front slices across the Southeast.

Monday and Tuesday will both start off near 40 degrees. Don’t be surprised if you wake up in the upper 30s especially if you live in Pike or Barbour counties. Monday will stay in the low 60s while Tuesday will warm up a little closer to 70.

We’ll stay a few degrees below our average for this time of year Wednesday-Friday with increasing cloud cover, and the rain will continue to stay away for now. This week should be the perfect week for most outdoor activities, so get out there and enjoy it if you can!
