WDHN Storm Team: Drying out this weekend, wet next week

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — We saw over an inch of rain last night and this morning, and a few more light showers might be possible this evening. Most of the rain should be out of our area before midnight as we start to drop those temperatures into the 40s.

Tomorrow will be right around 60 degrees with mostly to partly sunny skies. More cloud cover will move in on Sunday and an isolated shower is possible very early Sunday morning.

Monday will be a 40% chance for scattered showers. Temperatures will skyrocket into the lower and middle 70s. Tuesday will remain in the 70s with lower rain chances.

Wednesday is our next best chance for rain at 60%. It looks like showers will be present throughout the Wiregrass much of the day.

Behind Wednesday’s system, we’ll bring in much cooler air! Thursday will remain in the low 60s and Friday will likely stay in the upper 50s. Both days should be mostly sunny.
