Temperatures for the next couple of days will be on the cool side and a northerly breeze will make it feel even a little cooler at times. High temperatures will be in the lower to middle 60s through Wednesday. Morning lows during that same time will be in the 40s if not lower 30s.
Wednesday is the first day of the Spring season. The vernal (spring) equinox happens at 4:54 PM CDT when the sun’s direct rays pass over the equator.
As the week goes on, afternoon high temperatures will creep into the lower 70s if not getting close to the lower 80s by the weekend for a few locations. It will be easy for that to happen thanks to a mainly sunny sky. Some clouds though will return on Sunday along with slightly higher humidity levels ahead of a weak storm. Some low end rain chances will enter the forecast next Monday.
