DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) – Tuesday will be mainly hot and humid as highs reach the lower 90s. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop into the afternoon and fade away with daytime heating.
We are tracking an area of low pressure that will move southward into the northern Gulf of Mexico over the next 24-48 hours. Most models are taking this system to the west of us, bringing minimal impacts for the Wiregrass. Regardless, rain chances will be in the forecast over the next week. We will continue to monitor this system closely and keep you posted.
