DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Wednesday afternoon is going to start out mostly sunny. An approaching cold front will bring more clouds and the chance for some showers into the Wiregrass. Most locations will stay dry though. High temperatures again will be well above average in the upper 90s to over 100°.
After the cold front clears out of the region, slightly cooler and drier air will be moving into the area. Afternoon high temperatures will be back to where they should be for this time of September. You can expect afternoon temperatures in the middle to upper 90s.
Thanks to the cold front, morning temperatures will be in the mid 60s Friday through Sunday. It will be our first taste of fall, which begins on Monday morning at 2:50 CDT.
