DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The rain is done, and the clouds will be evacuating the area tonight. Cold air will rush in behind this system and take us into the low 40s tonight.
Saturday will be mostly sunny and in the upper 50s. A system out in the southern Gulf on Sunday will lead to shower activity throughout the Gulf and in portions of Florida. That increase in moisture Sunday will lead to mostly cloudy skies and a low chance of showers Sunday evening. Overnight Sunday into Monday will have a 30-40% chance for rain, but conditions will be improving Monday morning.
Monday itself should be mainly dry with mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will start in the low 40s and move up to about 60 degrees.
Tuesday and Wednesday will both start in the middle 30s, so make sure to dress warm before leaving the house those days. Highs on Tuesday will peak in the middle 50s while Wednesday makes it to 60. Both days will have abundant sunshine.
Sunny conditions continue Thursday as more warm air filters in. Morning lows around 40 will increase to low and middle 60s. Friday will be mostly cloudy and more seasonal both in the morning and afternoon.
