WDHN Storm Team: Another marginal severe weather threat tomorrow

Weather

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Scattered storms moved through the Wiregrass today causing a delay in game play for the Future Masters after a few storms turned severe. Fortunately, tomorrow’s severe weather threat falls on a day that participants get to use as a scheduled mid-week break.

Much like today, Wednesday will see storms starting around noon and continuing through the afternoon hours. Additional evening storms are possible. The main threat is winds up to 60mph, but small hail may also be possible.

Storms will stick around Thursday keeping high temperatures in the mid-80s once again. While they aren’t predicted to be as strong as Wednesday’s storms, it is still important to know the severe weather protocol wherever you are.

Friday and Saturday will be in the low 90s with a lower chance for storms both days. Those rain chances increase Sunday and beyond as temperatures hover around or below 90 degrees.
