DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — It doesn’t get much better than this! We’ll see lots of warm and sunny days this week, but there are also some chances for a few showers.
Tonight will be seasonable with clear skies, light winds, and temperatures dropping to around 40 degrees.
Tuesday and Wednesday will be warm with highs around 70 degrees and sunshine all day long.
Thursday will be even warmer than the previous two days, but we’ll start to see an increase in cloud cover ahead of the next cold front. An isolated shower is possible. Overnight lows will be in the 50s from here until the end of the forecast period.
Friday will be mostly cloudy with a 20% chance for showers and a few storms. No severe threat is expected, but lightning is possible. Temperatures will hold in the low and middle 70s.
The weekend will be very warm with highs easily in the middle and upper 70s. Don’t be surprised if the next week forecast has the weekend in the 80s, but we’ll hold off on being certain about that kind of heat for now. A few showers are possible, but neither day will be a washout. At this point, people might be turning on the AC because of the increase in temps.
Monday will also be very warm, but showers will be a little more likely.
