DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — A perfect night for Friday Night Football in terms of the weather! However, things are about to change once again.
Tonight, there will be some patchy fog as temperatures drop into the upper 60s.
Tomorrow, the weekend starts off with mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the middle 80s. Besides some seabreeze induced showers and storms to our south, we’ll be dry throughout the entire day.
Sunday will switch things up as the wet weather makes a return to the Tri-State. We’ll hang on to those mid-80s during the day and low 70s and upper 60s at night. Monday will basically clone Sunday’s weather with a 30% chance for rain and those seasonable afternoon temperatures.
Tuesday depends greatly on the timing of the cold front, and the models have gone back and forth a little bit in that regard. Expect highs to make it into the middle and upper 70s with a line of scattered storms moving through the Southeast.
After the cold front comes the sunshine, the cooler temperatures, the drier air. Wednesday-Friday will be everything that people think of when they hear Fall.
