Today will be on the cool side, but all in all it’ll be a nice day. Tonight clouds arrive as a cold front makes its way toward the Wiregrass. That front, sponsored by a trough up at jet stream level, will be moving on by here by late in the day tomorrow. With that, there will be showers and perhaps a few rumbles of thunder for Thursday. The front will continue moving to the East but in its wake, clouds will remain and temperatures will drop as some much cooler air arrives for Friday. The sun comes out for the weekend but it will be on the cool side with many areas below freezing during the early morning hours. High temperatures will be struggling to reach the middle 50s both days.
