There is officially a quarterback battle underway at Dothan High School.
Wolves’ head coach Smitty Grider confirms that Northside Methodist Academy QB Bauer Sharp has transferred to Dothan. The 6’4″, 200lb Sharp
is expected to compete with Jamal Lane for the starting quarterback role.
Coach Grider says having top talent to compete and playing big-name teams maybe one reason why the Dothan City Commission is
looking at replacing, or renovating Rip Hewes.
On Saturday night, August 24th the Wolves will open their season on the road, where they will take on perennial Class 6A powerhouse Clay-Chalkville.
