DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — “We just wanted to make sure everybody is safe and taken care of,”

Complete Hearing Center located off West Main Street gave out masks to make sure everyone is staying safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“So, we had 1,000 masks and we partnered with Healthcare Resource Center down the street. They also got 1,000. So unfortunately that’s all we were able to get at this time because its kinda hard to get em right now,”

Cars were lined up about a mile out from the place waiting to fill the horseshoe drive-thru to receive their masks. Workers were able to provide a mask or two to each car on a first come first serve basis.

Although masks were given out to the everybody, the goal was to make sure the elderly are taken care of during this coronavirus pandemic.

“Yeah, I think its really important for elderly community especially right now they’re at high risk. Just stay safe, wear masks when they can, if they can’t find one maybe make one. I’m thankful we were able to provide several today and help those that just don’t have access to any masks at all,” Walding said.

If you missed the giveaway on Wednesday morning, there will be another masks giveaway Thursday morning at Healthcare Resource Center down the street.
