DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Without the peanut festival this year, many non-profit organizations will miss out on a chance to raise money.
That’s why Folklore Brewing and Meadery is doing its best to help.
It will be hosting a “Peanut palooza” this Saturday for all the non-profit organizations that are usually seen at the peanut festival.
This is a way for them to make their profits and show off what they have done throughout the year.
“So we got to discussing what a disappointment it was to lose that funding for these non-profits,” owner Jeremy Pate said. “Honestly, this is the primary means of raising funds for them for their entire annual budget,”
Peanut Palooza will start at 11 a.m. Saturday.
