Riding, roping, racing and wrestling. That’s what crowds can expect at the 25th Annual South Alabama Pro Rodeo Classic being held at the AG Plex in Ozark.
Participants will be fighting against the clock in numerous categories in the hopes of earning enough points to take them to national competition.
“It’s been going on here in Ozark for the last twenty five years. Last 18 years it’s been here in this arena and before that it was at Stegall Park. Every penny that we bring in goes back into the rodeo here goes back into supporting the arena, working on the rodeo and the arena. We have a lot of contestants here and they come from everywhere.”
The rodeo runs Friday and Saturday with gates opening at six with the roping and riding starting at eight and tickets will run twelve dollars at the gate.
