COFFEE COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — In our weekly high school quarterback segment, 10th grader Kaden Cupp was the pilot in his team’s win.
Kaden threw for 152 yards and two scores. He also rushed for 36 yards and two more scores in the gamecock Class 2A, Region 3 victory over Central-Hayneville.
New Brockton won its first game of the season on homecoming 41-28.
“We had little mistakes, but then I started hitting my wide receivers and we got in a rhythm and started clicking,” Cupp said.
This Friday night, Kaden and his Gamecocks will travel to region rival Goshen and attempt to make it two victories in a row.
