Midland City, Ala. (WDHN) — The new consolidated Dothan High Wolves are not only excelling on the Gridiron, but the volleyball team is doing well on the hardwood.
The lady Wolves invaded the Dale County Warrior gymnasium in Midland City Thursday night. It was a tough contest with the lead swinging back and forth against the Warrior girls.
The visitors were able to persevere winning in three matches. The Wolves took the first match 2-15 and the third 18-16.
Dale County won the second match 18-15.
“The girls are definitely jelling at a good time, they are working hard for area and regionals,” Coach Brinne Kent said.
Dothan is currently 10-7 on the season, and they’ll be in tournament play this weekend.
