Two Dothan Wolves sign letters of intent to further football career

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Two Dothan wolves made their decision on where they’ll play their collegiate ball.

Wide receiver Jabre Barber will be going up the road to Troy University. Barber made his decision at the end of last year, so Wednesday he was recognized as the first wolves football player to sign. He’ll be joining a talented wide receiver core.

Also, his teammate, Ta’bryious Webb will take his running back talents to Livingston, Alabama to play for the West Alabama Tigers.

“It means a lot to me to be a Troy Trojan. I feel like I’m gonna fit good at Troy,” Barber said. “When football season roll around, I know I’m gonna have to work hard. I’m just ready to play some ball

“The offensive scheme and the way they rotate backs for situational purposes. Yeah, it’s just a great school all around,” Ta’Bryious Webb said.

The Wolves’ players say they’re glad to stay in-state, so their families can watch their success “in person.”
