Troy to face Nicholls St. in 2025 for first time in over twenty years

TROY, Ala (WDHN) — Friday morning Troy University announced they have added a non-conference game for the 2025 season.

The new foe will be a familiar one for some, it is Nicholls St. out of Louisiana. The two schools have a history of games dating back to 1973 and the Trojans lead the series commandingly, 20-6-1.

This game will be the first game of the season for the Trojans and will be at The Vet on August 30th, 2025.
