SLOCOMB, Ala. (WDHN) — Slocomb High football coach Rich Tisdale described Red Tops senior Tanner Berry as a young man who has a very bright future in life.
Today, Tanner signed a collegiate letter of intent to play for the Point University Skyhawks next fall in West Point, Georgia. In 2019, the wide receiver gained nearly 500 all-purpose yards for the Red Tops.
In addition, Tanner is a basketball and baseball player.
“I am looking forward to going to Point University and excelling in the classroom and athletically, I’m real excited about that,” Berry said.
The Point University coaching staff expects Tanner to have an immediate impact as wide receiver for the Skyhawks next fall.
