DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Providence Christian head coach Kenny Keith confirms his team’s star running back Wise Gordon is done for the season.

In Providence’s victory over Slocomb last Friday night, Gordon tore an ACL in his right knee and will undergo surgery.

The latest injury ends the senior’s high school career. Wise finishes as the Eagles’ all-time leader in career touchdowns with 45.

Second-string running back Gus Goldsborough will get the start against Dale County Friday night.
