FOXBOROUGH, MA (WDHN) — The NFL is handing down its punishment against New England for illegally videotaping on the sidelines.
Last year, a Patriots TV crew was caught recording the Cincinnati Bengal’s sideline during a game.
The Patriots later admitted to the illegal act — but said it was unintentional.
A source familiar with the story says the punishment includes a one-point-one million dollar fine, and the loss of a third-round draft pick.
Also, the patriots’ TV crews will not be allowed to shoot any games during the upcoming season — and senior club officials will undergo more training on league operation and game policies.
