Neal Brown talks about the difficulty of implementing new style of offense

Former Troy and now West Virginia University head football coach Neal Brown faced the media since taking over he Mountaineers program earlier this year.

Coach Brown says its been a learning curve he’s trying to grasp as many details as possible while implementing his “Wide Open” offense.

That strategy brought three consecutive ten win seasons to the Troy campus.

“But who knows whether your in fall camp or spring ball the offense does well. Does that mean you’re good in offense or not good in defense or vice-a-versa. If your good on defense does that mean your good on defense or not good on offense, who knows.”

August 31st the Mountaineers open their season at home against James Madison.
