After Charles Henderson was eliminated in the region tournament, the mother of Maori Davenport dropped her lawsuit against the Alabama High School Athletic Association.

Tara Davenport, acting on behalf of her daughter, filed a motion that the twice-delayed case against the AHSAA and Director Steve Savarese should be dismissed. Pike County Circuit Judge Henry T. Reagan granted the request and dismissed the case.

Davenport has been ruled ineligible by the AHSAA. Due to Davenport playing a number of games, the Trojans could possibly have to forfeit a number of its wins this season.
