Providence Christian Academy senior Michael Sullivan will play for the U.S. Academy’s Sprint football team

Dothan, Ala. (WDHN)—On Friday, a very special moment for a senior at Providence Christian Academy.
Michael Sullivan played fullback and linebacker for the Eagles over the last three years.

With social distancing in effect, Sullivan “signed” a letter of commitment to play
“Sprint football” for the U.S. Army Academy at West Point, New York.

“Sprint football’ consists of 10 teams in two, five-team divisions. The players are all 178 pounds or less.
It gives Michael a chance to continue his football career while preparing to serve his country.

At the ceremony, Providence Christian Head Coach Kenny Keith said Michael Sullivan
was one of the most dedicated young men he’s ever coached.
